'There were fences that we leaped And some that we slid under, Even when we knew we'd tear our pants. However, if we did leap too high Or slide too fast you were nearby To stretch out your hand. And at times, you even helped us Sew up the patches on our pants. \ "X St. Joseph's College ^57 yr AA-*v~> 1 BRENTWOOD ROAD ■ 6RENTW000, NEW YORK 1 1 7 1 7 • 5 1 6 ■ 2 7 3- 5 1 1 2 100948 I S. Thank you all for sharing with us the highs and lows of pub- lishing the 1974 Yearbook. It was difficult to summarize one year of life and learning at St. Joe's between forty pages. We could not have done it without. . . Thank you Sister Maura for your photographic sensitivity and your guidance. There were times, especially in the be- ginning, when we were doubtful whether the completion of MEMORIES would ever come about but your encouraging words gave us hope. Thank you Arne, Barbara, Sue, Joe and Mickey for giving of yourselves to assist us in the layout of MEMORIES. We are grateful to you for wanting it all to happen. We only wish that there were more like you who were anxious for MEMORIES to be put on paper. And Thank you Sister Lorna for your services in developing our pictures which captured some glimpses of the happenings here. Thank you all who have solicited boosters towards this 1974 publication. Without you, all of our time, effort and talent would have been of little value. And thank you - strangers, students, friends and friends of friends-who have been indirectly concerned and have shown us your support. We appreciate it so much. And finally, Congratulations to the Class of '74. It is for you that we have captured these moments and we hope that you will always smile when you remember them.
